We Built the Tool We Needed Ourselves
Packative One was not designed by a software company studying the packaging industry. It was written by people running a packaging business that had outgrown its spreadsheets. Every quote that took three days, every estimate that lost margin to a rounding error, every order buried in a chat thread: we lived those before we built anything.

The category is crowded with two kinds of vendor: generic CPQ that has never heard of a flute grade, and legacy print-ERP that takes nine months and a consultant. Neither can say the sentence we can, that we ran this business first. We are not selling AI. We are selling the packaging knowledge underneath it.
Packative’s own packaging operation still runs on Packative One every day. A broken quoting flow costs us orders before it costs anyone else theirs, and no feature ships because it demos well. We are our own hardest customer.
The People
A Team of Twelve That Has Done This Job
Twelve operators, designers, and engineers in one Seoul office, who ran the packaging business before they built the software for it.

Dominik has been writing software since he was twelve, and spent fifteen years on enterprise systems: CRM, ERP, document management, OCR, and supply-chain platforms, built hands-on for the companies that run on them.
In 2018 he led food and beverage sourcing for twelve country houses at the Olympic Games in PyeongChang. That is where the packaging problem became impossible to ignore: specifications that nobody could price quickly, quotes that took days, and suppliers reachable only by phone and attachment.
From 2020 he worked on it directly, running a packaging business in Seoul that has served more than 4,000 customers, shipping folding cartons, rigid boxes, and shopping bags for food, cosmetics, and fashion brands.
Packative One is that loop closed. The engineer who spent fifteen years building operational software finally had an operation of his own that needed it, and he still designs and builds the platform's core with a team of twelve.
