Cookie Policy
Last updated August 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar storage on packative.one: what each one is for, how long it lasts, and how to change your mind. It applies to this website, not to the Packative One product, which is covered by the agreement with each customer.
What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job by other means. This policy covers all of them, and the word cookie is used for the lot.
The Categories
Three categories, decided separately. Nothing outside the first runs until you choose.
- Strictly necessary: remembers your privacy choice, secures the site, and delivers a feature you asked for. These are not used for analytics or advertising and cannot be switched off
- Analytics, only with your consent: lets PostHog collect page and interaction events so we can see how the site is used. It does not include form answers, names, email addresses, company names, or ROI inputs
- Advertising, only with your consent: lets Google Ads, Meta Ads, and the other platforms named in our privacy policy measure campaigns and build retargeting audiences
Advertising Technologies
Advertising technologies are separate from Analytics. If you enable Advertising, Google Ads and Meta Ads may use cookies, pixels, local storage, or similar identifiers to measure conversions, control how often an ad is shown, create audiences, and show Packative One advertising on other services. Google and Meta may combine these identifiers with information they already hold about users of their services. No advertising technology loads or sends a request before you enable Advertising.
Google Ads may set _gcl_au and campaign-specific _gcl_ identifiers after Advertising consent, configured for no more than 90 days. Meta Pixel may set _fbp, and _fbc after a Meta ad click, also configured for no more than 90 days. Audience membership we control lasts no more than 180 days.
The Google Ads conversion tag is the only advertising technology on this site. It is not present in the page until you enable Advertising, at which point it loads to measure demo, contact, and ROI report requests. No Meta Pixel or other retargeting tag is installed, and the categories exist so that nothing can be switched on without your choice first.
What We Store
The list below is what the site stores today:
- Your privacy choice: the categories you picked, the time you picked them, and the policy version. Kept 12 months, then we ask again
- Country: a two-letter country code from the network edge, so an enquiry records where it came from. Kept 12 hours
- PostHog analytics cookie (ph_*): set only after you enable Analytics; distinguishes your browser across visits; expires after at most 12 months
- Attribution: campaign parameters, advertising click identifiers, the referrer and the landing path from your first visit. Expires automatically after 90 days
- Google Ads conversion cookies (_gcl_au and campaign-specific _gcl_ identifiers): set only after you enable Advertising; attribute a demo, contact, or ROI report request to the ad that led to it; configured for no more than 90 days
- ROI calculator inputs: kept on your device so the figures survive a page reload, and cleared automatically after 30 days
Changing Your Choice
We store your category choice, the time of the choice, and the policy version for 12 months. Open Privacy choices in the footer at any time to change or withdraw a choice, without clearing other site data. We ask again sooner if we add a purpose or a provider.
Rejecting Advertising prevents future Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and other retargeting tags from loading. Rejecting Analytics prevents PostHog from loading at all. The site and its forms stay available either way. Withdrawal stops future optional tags and does not affect processing that was lawful before it.
